Service Description

Mastering is the final step of the audio production process, which involves fully enhancing and optimizing the quality and loudness of a recording to ensure a consistent and cohesive sound from start to finish. EQ balancing: boosting and/or reducing specific frequency ranges to reduce harshness and balance the sound so that it is uniform throughout Dynamic EQ: an advanced tool used in certain areas of the frequency spectrum to keep the volume in those areas below a certain threshold, helping to further ensure balanced EQ from start to finish Compression,: reducing loudness peaks and valleys throughout a recording to a more consistent level throughout Stereo imaging: adjusting the width of stereo recordings to optimize the sound between the left and right speakers/channels Saturation: adding 'excitement' to any frequencies, if necessary, for further enhancement (especially for older recordings)​​ Limiter/Maximizer: maximizing the loudness of a recording to a consistent level throughout, while still maintaining overall dynamic depth and range; audio peak levels do not exceed 0 db to prevent any clipping/distortion Formatting: the standard format for completed stereo masters are sent as uncompressed WAV or AIFF files at a 44.1k Hz sample rate and 24 bit rate unless specified otherwise. ​ *Price is based on one file/song up to 10 minutes in length. Each additional minute surpassed will cost $5. Please note that results will vary based on the condition of your original recording(s).


Cancellation Policy

NOTE: Although Post Pro Sound prides itself on being able to fix most audio issues, there are occasions where the quality of the original audio is so incredibly poor that it is simply beyond repair. In such cases, a full refund will be given.
